Hungarian Grey cattle returns to Transylvania
The Hungarian Grey cattle are back in Cobor! This breed, once the authochtonous bree of Transylvania, is now almost extinct in Romania. These animals were one of the most saught 3-purpose cow (pulling, meat and milk) in Central Europe between the 13-18th centuries, especially as they were immune to many of the dangerous cattle diseases. The stock at the Cobor Farm serves conservation purposes as well as a contribution to the traditional gene bank.
With a lot of calves on the way and after a mandatory accommodation period, we will invite you to Cobor, to visit them.
Come to Cobor!
