YouthBank in Făgăraș

Was passt für einen Samstagnachmittag besser, als mit den Schülern der Fagaras YouthBank Zeit zu verbringen? Die YouthBank ist ein außerschulisches Bildungsprogramm für die Schüler der Gegend um die Städte Făgăraș und Victoria. Das YouthBank Programm wrude vn der Gemeindestiftung Fagarascher Land entwickelt und wendet sich direkt an die Jugendlichen als wichtige Mitglieder der Gemeinschaft. Das Projekt soll die Schüler animieren, durch direktes gesellschaftliches Engagement zu lernen, dass Veränderung durch jede einzelne Person geschehen kann.

Einmal im Jahr veranstalten die Jugendlichen einen Abend mit der Versteigerung von Erlebnissen, um Geld für interessante und gemeinnützige Projekte zu sammeln.

Die Cobor Biodiversitätsfarm hat das Projekt durch die Spende eines Besuchs zum Vogelbeobachtungsstand, einer geführten Farmtour und einen Gourmet Abendessen eingeladen und wir freuen uns, die Gewinner bald begrüßen zu dürfen.

Nothing is more suitable on a Saturday evening than spending time with the talented high school students from the Fagaras YouthBank. All funds raised during this Experience auction will help them to implement interesting projects.

Alex and Laura, two of the stundents are the winners of our donation for the auction: A visit to the bird hide of the COBOR Biodiversity Farm, a farm tour and a gourmet dinner.

YouthBank is a non-formal education programme developed by Fagaras Country Community and dedicated to high school students from the Fagaras Country and Victoria. The YouthBank programme targets one of the most important segments of the community: The high school youth. The programme wants to give young people a sense of community involvement, the fact that change comes from each individual.
